DANTE [ full application ] ★ Undeclared major at Recollé University in his sophomore junior year, leaning toward majoring in business nudged by Ardyn into focusing on pre-law. ★ Arrogant, spoiled rich kid that's been handed basically everything he could ever want by his absent parents. Father (Andri Rantanen) is a pianist, while his (step-)mother (Leona Rantanen) is a publicist. He's got an identical twin somewhere out there, but he has no memories of him since his birth mother has had custody of his twin since they were three. ★ Does not form deep connections with people. With people he knows he'll joke around and snark and act goofy, but his friendship doesn't go deeper than that. With people he doesn't know he'll either be cold and arrogant (if he doesn't see a use for them) or slightly less cold and congenial (if he wants to keep them for potential use later on). But ultimately, he considers himself alone. ★ The only person he's really had a close connection with is his grandmother, who passed away in her sleep while he was living with her his senior year of high school. ★ Doesn't really care about his university courses--he's only taking them because while he's in college, his parents pay for everything he needs. To classmates he's generally shut-off and aloof, preferring not to deal with any of them unless he has to. In group projects he'll pull his weight, but don't expect him to go above and beyond. He does what he says he's going to do and that's it. ★ Personal style is neat and trendy leaning on hipster. Slim-cut jeans, nice shoes, blazers when applicable, a nice wool coat for winter and a nice scarf... Dante always looks put together as a side-effect of living on the tour circuit with his parents for several years. ★ Interests include running, piano, exploring places that have been abandoned or otherwise "off limits" for one reason or another, shitposting anonymously because it's funny to him, and maintaining a "secret identity" online as instagram/twitter/youtube user novecerchi. (He will never ever ever use this name on the Retrospec network.) ★ Has a secret soft spot for animals and goes to the animal shelter on a regular basis to help play with and walk the dogs. Many of the permanent staff there tells him how much of a cat person he is, something he usually denies but can't exactly refute considering how many of the cats will drape themselves over his shoulders. ★ Someone come and screw with this child please.
